Emergency calls

1. Emergency calls always connect

Emergency calls from your system always connect right away. This applies outside business hours too.

110, 112, and 19222 are protected. Only INGOS can remove these numbers.

2. What the system prevents

Fixed rules apply so an emergency call never ends up inside your company:

  • An emergency number is never an internal number. This covers extensions, groups, menus, voicemail, conference rooms, and service numbers.
  • You cannot enter an emergency number as a call forwarding destination.
  • Emergency numbers do not enter the company directory through an import.
3. Custom emergency numbers

Administrators add more numbers, such as for site security. Only they can add and remove custom emergency numbers.

  1. Open Einstellungen (Settings) and then Notrufnummern (Emergency numbers).
  2. Enter the number. 2 to 8 digits are allowed, with no leading 0.
  3. Select Hinzufügen (Add).

Removed custom numbers then sit in the Trash.

WARNING

Check with INGOS that your company location is stored for emergency calls. Only then does an emergency call reach the responsible dispatch center.
