1. Announcements, music on hold

INGOS loads new announcements and music on hold for you. Send us the audio file with a note about what it is for.

Content Recommended format
Announcement WAV, 8000 Hz, 16 Bit, Mono, or MP3
Music on hold WAV, 48000 or 32000 Hz, 16 Bit, Mono

A file can be at most 30 MB.

Note

The upload buttons in the web interface do not work on my.ingos.com right now. Go through INGOS.

Note

Use only music you have the rights to play on hold.

2. Assign announcements

You assign existing announcements yourself.

  1. Open Routing (Routing) and Eingangs-Ansage (Incoming announcement).
  2. Select the call queue or the menu.
  3. Select the announcement from the library.
  4. Check the change from old to new in the preview and apply it.

In Call builder, you also connect announcements to the call flow as a block.

3. Set music on hold
  1. Open Einstellungen (Settings) and Wartemusik (Music on hold).
  2. Turn Wartemusik aktiv (Music on hold active) on or off.
  3. Select the Abspielmodus (Playback mode): Ein Titel (Standard) (One track (standard)), Zufall pro Anruf (Random per call), or Zufall pro Tag (Random per day).

The setting applies to the whole company. Individual call queues can have their own music on hold, see Ring groups and call queues.

4. Remove announcements

You cannot delete an announcement that is still in use. Remove it from all call flows first.
