Added:
  • With the new Outlook App, access to the archive from within the new Outlook for Microsoft 365 and Outlook on the web is possible. It provides the functionality of Web Access within Outlook.
  • Support for archiving emails with binary content from INGOS ARCHIVE Gateway 24.4 or later.
  • The search function now supports searching for alternative terms, similar to an OR linkage.
  • User login from directory services without OpenID Connect can be secured with multi-factor authentication.
  • User login can be restricted to specific clients.
  • If available, the plaintext copy of an IRM-protected message from Microsoft 365 journal reports is archived.
  • The Management API can be used to set allowed clients for a user (SetUserLoginPrivileges).

 

Changed:
  • The installation program now warns against downgrading INGOS ARCHIVE.
  • The installation program now suggests the previous installation path.
  • The extraction of text from PDF attachments has been moved to a separate process to improve the stability of PDF indexing.
  • The internal database engine has been updated. Please read the update notes carefully to learn more about the upgrade process.
  • In line with Microsoft's renaming of products, "Azure AD" has been replaced with "Microsoft Entra ID".
  • The Management API command for creating users can now set allowed clients (CreateUser).
  • The list of default allowed clients for synchronized users can be configured.
  • Multi-factor authentication can be enabled by default for synchronized users.
  • Web Access: Comprehensive update of all underlying web framework components.
  • The client prevents the use of uppercase letters when renaming archives.

 

Fixed:
  • An outdated third-party component has been replaced with integrated functions.
  • Recovery records are not written when an archive store needs to be updated.
  • Administrators authenticated via OpenID Connect could not change compliance settings that require password confirmation.
  • The setting for automatically excluding folders in Exchange and Microsoft 365 profiles cannot be re-enabled.
  • Various minor bug fixes and improvements.
