Map, calendar, and storage

Map

The Karte (Map) shows your sites with their devices and the path of the data: from the site through the firewall and the internet uplink to the external data center. The transfer is encrypted.

If local storage is set up at a site, it appears as well. It receives the first backup quickly on your own network.

Clicking a device shows status, the last successful backup, and volume. Öffnen (Open) takes you to the device, and Zeitachse (Timeline) takes you to the restore points.

Calendar

The Kalender (Calendar) shows when backups run.

  1. Choose Tag (Day), Woche (Week), Monat (Month), or Jahr (Year). Heute (Today) returns to the current date.
  2. On the left, show and hide devices by site.
  3. Below that is the default schedule, for example daily at 22:30.

INGOS sets up a different schedule. How you request this is under Settings and changes.

Storage usage

Under Speicherverbrauch (Storage usage), you see how much space your backups use and how it changes.

  • Zeitraum: (Period) 3 Monate (3 months), 6 Monate (6 months), 12 Monate (12 months), or Alle (All).
  • Sicherungs-Speicher: (Backup storage) the usage of each storage.
  • Belegter Speicher (Used storage), Geschützte Daten (Protected data), and Zuwachs (30 Tage) (30-day growth).
  • Effizienz: (Efficiency) how much space deduplication and compression save.
  • Speicher-Kapazität: (Storage capacity) how long the space is expected to last, if a capacity is set.
  • Geschützte Daten je Gerät — Verlauf: (Protected data per device — history) how each device's data grows.

Note

If space runs low, a notice appears under Alerts & Tasks. Request more space from INGOS.
