Alerts and recommendations

Alarme & Aufgaben (Alerts & Tasks) collects everything open in one place: failed, missed, and stuck backups, as well as low storage.

• At the top are, among other things, the key figures Dringend offen (Urgent open) and Offen gesamt (Open total).
• The Zu erledigen (To do) list names each topic with the device. A click takes you to the device.
• INGOS takes care of the entries. An entry stays visible until the backup runs successfully again.

Under Empfehlungen (Recommendations), the app suggests what makes your backup even better. Examples:

• a second copy at another site, according to the 3-2-1 rule
• a second storage with write protection
• a longer retention
• a restore test
• move a backup to the night

For some recommendations, Anfragen (Request) opens a prefilled request to INGOS. For all other recommendations, you submit a request under Support (Support) and include the text of the recommendation, so it is immediately clear what it is about.
