Success rate and history
The ring shows how many days the backup ran without errors, for example 364 von 364 Tagen fehlerfrei (364 of 364 days error-free). Next to it, the grid shows each day. Click a yellow or red day to open the details of that run.
Status and protection
- In der Sicherung: (In the backup) whether the device is signed in.
- Letzte Sicherung: (Last backup) date and time.
- Nachts erwartet: (Expected at night) immer (auch nachts) (always, including at night) for servers, nur wenn verbunden (only when connected) for notebooks.
- Gesichertes Volumen: (Backed-up volume) the size of the backed-up data.
- Schutz: (Protection) which backup is active and how long restore points are kept.
What is backed up
The section lists each source, for example Komplett-Image (Full image) or Dateien & Ordner (Files & folders), with the time of the last backup. If a second copy is set up, Erstsicherung (Primary copy) and Zweitsicherung (Secondary copy) appear separately. Folders that are not backed up appear as an exclusion.
Understand warnings
Under Aktivität (Activity) you see every run. For a warning or an error, click Grund ansehen (View reason). The details name the cause in plain words, the affected paths, and what you can do.
A folder is often unreadable, for example Trash or a system folder. If it should not be backed up, create an exclusion or ask INGOS through Support. If an error repeats, contact INGOS.
Notebook was off
If a notebook is turned off or not connected at the scheduled time, the app shows a notice: The backup will catch up as soon as the device is connected again. No alert is created.
