3. Release: 2025-01-21

Behavior Changes:

  • After the update, you can schedule reports on a yearly basis for specific months.
  • When importing vendors, product and service relationships can now be imported simultaneously.
  • Merging of Incident and Service Additional Fields:
    • All additional fields for incidents and services have been combined into general "Request Additional Fields."
    • Encryption for picklist or radio fields in requests is removed.
    • Custom ordering for product or software questions is no longer maintained. Instead, ascending or descending sorting is now used by default.
    • Once an image is assigned to a question, it can no longer be deselected.
    • Multi-line fields are no longer available in the column chooser of the request list view.
    • Sorting by single-line fields in the request list view has been removed.
    • Swapping between picklist ↔ radio or multi select ↔ checkbox fields is no longer permitted in request additional fields.
    • The order of selected options in multi-select fields is preserved in the same sequence they were chosen.
    • If a request contained manually defined options before the update and those are later converted to reference options, the previously selected values are retained.
    • For a checkbox question with multiple answers, after changing the question type to radio, only the initially selected value remains.
    • If a section used in a template is removed from that template, the association and related maintenance data are completely removed after the migration.
    • When a field in a condition is no longer present in the current template, that condition will be considered met if the field is missing or empty.
    • Sections with duplicate questions can no longer be associated to templates, even if they are inactive.
  • Dynamic configurations for accounts, sites, categories, subcategories, statuses, priorities, levels, modes, urgency, impact, request types, and user-defined options are removed.
  • An invalid account name only causes that specific record to fail during import without halting the entire process.
  • Changes to Analytics Integration:
    • After migration, custom request fields are transferred to new tables in the Analytics workspace. Existing reports can either continue to be used or be updated to reference the new schema.
    • Please reconfigure the custom request table schema to maintain data consistency within your reporting framework.
